About Us
About Us:

Our mission is to provide
books to public libraries and school supplies to indigent children.

Galing (which means "great") was founded in May 12, 2005 by
Toni Daya-Luetgers, a native of the Philippines and
an award-winning artist/producer.

"Here in America, I realized the abundance of new and gently used school
supplies cluttering our space.   Meanwhile in the rural areas of the
Philippines, indigent children suffer illiteracy.  Many do not have access to
books and school supplies."

Since, May 2005 PG has shipped 119 balikbayan boxes of donation from
various individuals and organizations in Atlanta to help promote English,
functional and civic literacy among Filipino
indigent children in Batangas, Cavite, Cebu, Misamis Oriental, South
Cotabato, General Santos &
Quezon, area.  We hope to expand the project
to benefit other rural areas in the near future.
